I also Have Ankylosing Spondylitis and Crohn's disease. AS is a disease of the spinal column. X-rays and blood test can detect the AS. Your blood will contain HLA-B27. My Gastro told me that people who have AS almost always have Crohn's disease. He did the colonocopy and biopsy showed the Crohn's. I was told there is no cure for the Ankylosing Spondylitis and put on Anti-inflamatories. I have included my email addy if you would like to contact me.
