                        Hi.  I have found that ANY stress can bring on a migrane.  Having low blood sugar is a stress on the body, more so for some people.  With hypoglycemia I first get shaky, then feel like there is a pit in my stomach, then feel irritable, then the headache comes--if I haven't eaten to help the sugar level.  I used to think the right thing to do was eat sugar (because it did help immediately) but I would get a bigger drop in blood sugar so I have learned to eat a little complex carborate first and then protein ---and to eat small amounts frequently.
