I am a 55 year old women with sever asthma. I never heard of the salt theory I am unable to use slt due to edema in my hands and legs that occur when i use salt. Do you have any other ideas? I use three inhalers, two pill form medications and I get shots every week, and I still have asthma atakcs, they are controlled with my medication, however, I use my rescue medication every day.
