I had a very similar experience with the scolitron. I was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 14 and was instructed to wear this machine for 1 year (while sleeping). I had the model with four electrodes, which I do not believe was ever approved by the FDA. After about 10 or 11 months, when I finally just could not take it anymore, I told my doctor and he said that they had decided awhile back that the treatment was not humane, therefore no new prescriptions for it were being made. I have never met anyone else who has used the machine and would love to hear from anyone else who has regarding their experience.
