Hello, My name is Keyt and I was looking for pics of shunts when I ran across your post. I am 32 years old and have been shunted since I was 5 yrs old. I have had 20 shunt revisions as well. I just wanted to tell you my experience. It is very common to have a normal EEG, CAT scan or MRI, then hours later have serious problems. I've even had it where all my tests were normal and 2 hours later I was in surgery needing a revision because I lost all my senses completely.
