Hi, I have repeatedly had high levels of uroporphyrins in my urine. I do not have symptoms of any of the porphyrias, except extreme photosensitivity. I respond with facial burning and throbbing pain to warmth and lights, especially fluorescents. This overheating and severe facial pain is also accompanied by headache to migraine, nausea, light-headedness and shakiness. Had a zillion other tests come back normal. Anyone know if the high uroporphyrin levels and photosensitivity are indicative of anything other than porphyria? (I have mild rosacea, but 30+ drs feel there is an underlying problem.) Thank you and Take Care.Lee Angelee214@webtv.net
