                        My daughter has central precocious puberty,   which is due to her hypothalmus not producing  GnRH. If your daughter's precocious puberty  is being caused by an ovarian cyst, this  is good news. These cysts tend to go away   on their own. They cause more estrogen to be  produced, temporarily causing symptoms of  puberty. If the cyst does not go away on its  own it may be removed depending on the what  problems it is causing. With true central  precocious puberty, the only treatment is   Lupron shots ever 3 weeks or so to prevent   the onset of puberty before the bones have   grown enough. Once the bones fuse after   puberty, little more growth can be achieved.
