well i first got acid reflux 9 yrs ago wen pregnant,ive had bouts of it for the 9yrs,i been on losec,nexium,tagmet,pariet and swallowed gulps of aniseed tasting thick muck!2 times i was sent to a specialist and to have the camera put down me throat,i never smoked or drank im am thin and rarely eat junk food,i stopped all caffeine including me fav chocolate,im told i hav the faulty valve thingy and basically am a stresshead.i went 2 yrs acid free,i take acidophilus every morning last year during bad stress in september 05 it came bak,this year in feb it got so bad nothing worked,i basically need to treat the stress to lose the acid i was told i mite benefit from an occassional beer or wine...imagine being told to drink?lol i goto bowen therapy and find it helps im studying at college since feb and assume thats the trigger at moment apart from personal family stress.anyone with other suggestions?good luck all
