I'm having a tailor's bunion removed from my right foot in 2 1/2 weeks. It's popped out and looks like there's room for another toe! A friend told me this is a very painful surgery to recover from. It hurts to walk now and is painful. Feels like I'm getting stuck wtih pins. Would like some input from others who have had it done. I'm only 49. Dr said I'd have to keep it elevated and iced for 3-5 days. Then will be able to return to work. I understand these tailor bunions aren't as common as the one by the big toe.
