No knowledge of the Hepatitis B adverse effects, but I'm 70 & have had the Polymyalgia Rheumatic for over 20 yrs. Your symptoms sound like mine & it flares up & then settles down. Very important to keep check on your SED' rate as if it gets too high the result could be instant blindness. 20 is a normal SED rate & just now mine is 32 having come down from 58 a month ago; have been on Prednisone as abt the only drug that kills the inflammation. This worse flareup I've ever had & entire body burning, even soles of feet, with activity I have severe muscle pain and fatigues & an overwhelming desire for sleep. Kinda in bed one day & up a day & then back down. A ood Rheumatologist can help you. I tried all the meds & pain block treatments & could not tolerate them, so good nutrition, exercise, controlled stress, etc, is helpful. I had chronic mild symptoms untillast summer when had a coronary stent implant for blockage, & I think all the drugs that were pumped into me triggered this eipsode. I wish you well, it is something that you will have to learn to live with----this stuff can also lead to things like Scleroderma, Lupus, etc., so don't take it lightly. Are your muscles very weak?? Mine are for first time & very frustrating. How old are you??
