Hello everyone: I have had 4 angioplasties and stent placement twice, all of that in only one artery after a heart attack in 1998. Last week I had another angiogram because of angina and we discovered that the same artery has re-narrowed where stent was placed the last time. Now my doctor told me that I two options. 1) single artery by-pass, 2) Radiation treatment. Radiation is still in it esperimental stage and I would be one of the volunteers to participate in the study. Long term effects are not known. Does anyone have any information on that? Please share with me if it is possible. Thank you very much.....Ali
