Sorry to hear about your 22 old daughter suffering from an eating disorder. I know it must be hard as a parent. I am recovering right now & my parents sounded EXACTLY the way you do. There is a treatment center in Wickenburg Arizona called Remuda Ranch that is very highly recomended. I was there. It is a wonderful place. The success rate is also very high. It has a spiritual aspect to it which is great. It's not like a "hospital." You get to ride horses, have group therapy, individual therapy, you go swimming, do art therapy & a lot more. It is a great place to be. I really believe in the place but your daughter has to WANT to get better or there will be no treatment place that will work. It would be a waste of time & money. Hopefully she will want to get help because there is so much more to life that worrying about eating, not eating & what you weigh. Hang in there. I know its very frustrating. I put my parents through hell. They have always been so supportive & have always stuck right by my side. Good luck!!!!!
