its not the lettuce. it can be that the resturant applies sulfa product to the leaves to keep it from turning brown. my daughter has asthma and is senistive to sufa. also if the salad contained certain green, danilion greens that could have caused the problem. ask the resturant what the green contained. sometimes they don't wash the greens well enough and some residue of chemicals remains on the leafs. good luck, glad to see that you are usuing a epi-pen. ruth paxton, rn, bsn
