The problem may not be with the salad (greens) itself, but with an additive put in/on the salad to keep it fresh and to enhance it's appearance. Unfor-tunately I forget the additive's name. I have a friend who has a similar reaction-she practically died one time, and she had asked if this additive had been used since she is aware of her allergy to this substance and she was misinformed. As a result she rarely eats out and only at carefully selected establishments she knows for a fact do not use the substance/additive in question. I'm sorry that the name has slipped my mind at the moment-my friend cannot be reached at the present time. I hope this helps, at least it will give you a place to start looking.
