My daughter had the same problem years ago. It wasn't the lettuce, it was the chemicals ON the lettuce she was allergic to. We ate salad at home,but when she went out to a restaurant, that same reaction happened to her. Most restaurants have stopped serving salads that still have contamination. Good luck!!
