I have had 19 operations on my sinuses. Chronic sinus problems since April of 95. The original infection caused cellulitis in my left side of my face including the eye. I had emergency surgery to remove the infection and have problems ever since. Most operations are done out patient. Pain is not too bad. Used pain meds for about 5 days. If they use packing it is annoying and the nose feels stuffed for a few days. Just realize that it may not be one operation and you are fixed. Good luck and God be with you.
