I know exactly how you feel. work at this point is impossible. I am a substitute teacher, who was working every day and I have had to take time off due to health problems that I have. I also have a kidney disease and I have read that people with kidney disease many times develop RLS. I too can barely function in the day because I hardly ever get any sleep and then I stay so tired the rest of the day, I find myself in a daze half the time. I am actually afraid to drive. When I do, sometimes I don't even remember it. The only thing I have found that even helps me a little is doing calf exercises. It relieves RLS only temporarily and then it starts all over again. Most people think I am crazy when I tell them my symptoms and think it is all due to stress or worrying, but as you know it is a REAL problem. Nice to know that there are others that understand. good luck to you.
