                        Lisa:  Don't loose hope.  Something that  helped me a ton while I was in the  process of quitting is to remember a  few things.  I used to be a 2-3 pack a  day smoker and like you could go all  day with one and as soon as I was on  mine own watch out!!  I only needed one  light until I went to sleep.  Remind   yourself:  1. If you can make it 3 days with out  a smoke the true "physical" cravings  are over.  2.  The physical want of the smoke only  lasts 5 minutes.    3.  12 hours after you smoke your last   one your lungs have already started   repairing themselves  4.  If you can make it 6-11 hours with  out one you are ahead of most of us in   the same position you are in.    5.  Live in the second!!  Don't think   about not smoking all day.  Be proud of   yourself for not smoking right now.  Pretty soon you have gone all day with   out a smoke and one more day is down!!    Please keep me updated.
