My son is almost three. He did not speak at well or say much at two and a half years old. We sent him for a speach evaluationa dn found that he responded well the therapy. He's been in therapy for five months and is responding well however he is still hard to understand. He says about ten words very clearly. He calls everyone ma, and responds with no to almost everything. He is normal is all ways except speach. We were told yesterday that he has dyspraxia. Hopefully his speach with therapy will continue to improve. You can see that he gets very frustrated that he cannot say what he thinks. We are now working on simple signs and picture symbols. Already we have seen some of the signs working and he tries to use the word although we cannot understand what he is staying.
