To all peoples who have sent replies and comments about DVT. Thanks for all your concerns and replies. Its April 2004 and I am doing good. I am still taking coumidin which will be a lifetime thing. Still have plebitis in my leg and have to wear TEDS all the time on my legs. I am almost back to normal, but not completely, Doctor said I would never be 100%, I do have some swelling if I exercise too much or walk too long, but things are going good after all this time. I have ONE suggestion for those who are seeking help. I found that being on a drug called LOVENOX for a short time completely did a turn around for me, got me back on my feet when my condition was serious. I suggest asking your doctors about this drug and look into seeing a specialist as I found myself a good HEMOTOLOGIST who works with me regarding my Factor Five and my DVT and all the other things that might come about down the line.
