Pat, I just read your message and wanted to respond. As of Sept. 27, 2000 I had only heard the phrase "Bell's Palsy". On that date, my 82 year old mother was diagnosed with it. Since then my family and I have learned much and still are researching. Mom visited her doctor again this week and he was very concerned that she was not recovering as expected. She really misses being able to read as she is in a long term care facility and this was one of her pleasures. (She needed the skilled care due to Parkinson's Disease). My heart goes out to you as we are experiencing the same thing. Maybe we can share any hopeful news we find as we continue to search for help. I will certainly keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I know how much it means to have support from others. I had open heart surgery 2 years ago and am challenged daily with Type 2 Diabetes. Some of the best medicine is knowing others care and are willing to reach out in so many ways. Judy
