jennifer, sorry to hear about your son. If it helps my son is 10 and has this problem since he was 2. We have done treatments but we haven't been consistent maybe thinking that sooner or later it had to change. Now we are back on track and retreating him.Make sure he eats fiber, veggies and fruit. Plenty of liquids. being older and having this problem is embarrasing for him and we know when he has poop coming out slowly and dry. He denies saying that he has not poop on his underwear. So if you get this e-mail I hope you feel that there are people out there that understand the problem. Just make sure that you are consistent and know that it takes a while to reverse the situation. be patient and don't panic. jessica from California
