I, too, have just what you are describing. I was on predisone for one week and the cough finally stopped. This is very frustrating. I am taking the steroid inhalers but little helps. Do you monitor your peak flow? My does not change and is usually in the mid 200's to 300. I am very nervous about this. Please let me know if you find out anything about this. I know less than you. I had never heard the term "cough-variant asthma". Thank you.
