I am in the process of being diagnosed and the dr. is pretty sure it is cough variant asthma. I never heard of it before. It turns out my former spouse's friend has it also. It must be more common than I knew. My main symptoms are persistant cough, wheezing and reduced air volume. It is the coughing that drives me nuts. I am looking on the net for more info. and came across your message.
