I have been treated for asthma since i came down with this cough while living on a farm 1980 - 1986. We did a lot of remodeling, shoveling pig, chicken manure, and bat droppings in the barns, as well as rodent droppings in the walls when remodeling. A nurse suggested that I be checked for Histoplasmosis but I never found anyone to do it. They just ruled it chronic bronchitis, or upper respiratory infection. Now i am debilitating and the tickle cough renders me unable to carry on my business meetings without interruuptions, etc. Any advice on where to go to have this diagnosed, and could it last this long? thank you
