I am a 63 year old white female with the residuals of histoplasmosis. I am wondering if there is any surgical treatment to help reduce the excessive "tickle" cough I seem to have all the time, especially when I first start talking to someone. My physician has been treating me with meds that are for asthma and they do not seem to be "getting rid" of the cough; they only dull it. I was told my a friend that her father had this corrected with some type of surgery. I am inquiring into what type of surgery it was. Any help will be most appreciated as this is becoming very taxing on my system.
