i had similar symptoms develope back in aug., i really suggest you find a good neuroligist..the tests that really helped the most for me where an MRI of my head and spine , with and without contrast and a lumbar puncture. Other tests that were done in the begining, by the 1st dr., simply wasted time. she ordered c-spine x-rays, thinking i had a bad disc, ( told her no neck pain), then an EMG to check for carpal tunnel, (i had none of the hallmark signs or symptoms of carpal tunnel) then an EMG..negative, of course.if you have a constant feeling of numbness, pins and needles, or it feels like something fell asleep and won't wake-up, then the MRI is the best tool, and don't wait too long..if you think you have MS,( or a transverse myelitis, or whatever may be going on) then the first choice of treatment for a flare-up is IV steroids. I am still suffering some neuro deficits in my left hand because the 1st dr. could'nt figure out what she should do, and delayed treatment to consult with another dr., then refused to do the IV steroids and other treatment he suggested. that's when i changed drs! please let me know how you do...i don't know about your headaches, although i've sure been getting my share since all this started, so it may all be related. my new dr. is'nt sure i have MS. i do have what they call an MS plaque at C5-6, and my MS panel on the CSF from the lumbar puncture was positive for certain elements..anyway, any questions, feel free to email me! good luck, wanita
