I too suffer RSD, following knee replacement and heel cord extension. My former e-mail partner just committed suicide because of the disease-I am in shock, and grieving her loss. RSD pain is severe, but I can't believe she took her life. We spoke every day, she gave no clue-I taught thr Emotionally Disturbed for 18 years-I'm trained to pick up on those things, I can't understand how I didn't see it coming... I know it sounds callous, but I am looking for someone else out there with RSD, who understands what we go through. I am on Morphine patches, Oxyconyin, Klonopin, Tylenol #4-for breakthru pain, Serzone for depression and pain and phenergran to offset the nausea caused by the other drugs. Plus, every 3-4 weeks I get a Sympathtic Nerve Block at the Kaiser pain clinic. That does help awhile, but nothing really keeps the pain at bay. It's cost me my profession and a 26 year relationship-but I've had some other medical problems as well over the past 2 years since getting RSD. If your interested in corresponding-let me know. This disease really sucks! And it's hard to find people who understand the pain we endure. Sincerely, Lisa Ann
