Wow...I too am suffering from a very fresh horse accident. My accident was two and a half weeks ago (July 15th, 2001). One of our yearling colts was struggling to keep from going into a stall and I had put up a gate pannel in front of the barn entrance to discourage her from running out of the barn. I was on the outside of the barn in front of the pannel. My husband lost control of her and she lunged right into the pannel and they both fell on me (the gate and horse) and caused a crushed cheekbone and broken upper jaw. I was knocked out and suffered a concussion which I am still feeling the dizziness from. I am sporting two metal plates in my face now and a pin. They did a remarkable job fixing me and it will be barely noticible in a few more weeks. I just hope the dizziness does not linger like yours has. That is quite worrisome to say the least.
