Hi Debbie, Our daughter was first diagnosed with RF and sc 5 years ago. It took the doctors a month to confirm it. She had no rheumatic symptoms, but had severe chorea and was unable to do anything for 6 weeks or so. She could barley walk. She fully recovered until a few weeks ago. She has had a reoccurrance and only her left side seems to be affected. Her strep antibody level is normal though. We and the doctors are a bit confused at this point. We were wondering if you knew anymore than we did. We seem to be experts and we know very little. Dr. Henry Sondheimer at Denver's Childrens Hospital is the best there is as far as we are concerned.
