One of the problems with dyspraxia is that many teachers do not understand it. My son is also dyspraxic, and his difficulties in the classroom derived from from his teachers inability to explain things in a manner that he could understand, and not giving him time to complete the work - this led to a great deal of frustration on his behalf. The Dyspraxia group of New Zealand have an excellent site with good advice for teachers of dyspraxic children.
