I'm 29, female and I suffered from two lung collapses last year and eventually had surgery in September. I am still experiencing pain on a regular basis (mainly in the morning and in slouching positions) and the lung always feels very tight, making it difficult to take a natural deep breath without an effort, despite my breathing exercises. I had a thoracoscopy, he took out some lung tissue, stapled some blebs and roughed up the lung and chest wall tissue so they would grow together, eliminating the possibility of another collapse. I would really appreciate input and info about similar experiences and to learn whether or not what I'm experiencing is normal, if it gets better over time, how long and often I should be doing deep breath exercises and if snorkelling is still an option on my upcoming vacation. Thanks
