I have had surgery twice for drooping eye lids. The first time it could hardly be noticed and there was a stretching feeling when closing the eyes. The second time, which was about nine years ago, the eyes drooped very badly. The doctor said I was the worst case he had ever seen. I never did have trouble closing my eyes. If you've only had the surgery once and your case was severe, you may need a second surgery. Good luck.
