I too was diagnosed with DVT. It's been about 3 years now. I'm off of coumadin, take an aspirin a day. Like you, "the Pill" was the culprit. It was in my left leg - calf area and yes, it got into my lung. It was pretty scary, but I had a great doctor and also the love of God. Today, I still have problems with pain in my leg but I'm handling it well.
