Hi Donna, I am happy to hear that you are improved. You are probably right about being over Polymyalgia, since you have had it for over 3 years. I've learned that it lasts an average of 3 years. What does your doctor think about it? It must have been terrible to endure the pain and stiffness of this disorder for 18 months. May I ask why you waited so long to get diagnosed? I had it for about 6 weeks before I was treated, and I really was disabled until the Prednisone took care of about 85% of the symptoms. I know you must have been very concerned about what you might have. I sure was! It was scary! But now, with the help of my good rheumatologist, I am doing quite well, and that is a blessing! I am on 7.5 mg at this time. My dr had me try lowering the dose to 5 mg about a month ago, but it caused a relapse, so I had to go back to 7.5 mg, for now. Maybe, in the near future, I can try lowering it again. I wish you good health and sunny days! Let me know how you are doing. Shar
