Hi, I've had three dental implants. Two took and one did not. I had repeated infections and had to go on antibiotics. Maybe that's what you need to get rid of the pain. This is going on with me for 1 1/2 years now and it is so far gone that the one that didn't take can't be removed at this point. I just had my 8th surgery and I feel for you. Sorry.........I hope you get better soon and I hope the same for me. You are not alone.
