I'm a breast cancer survivor also. I haven't been diagnoaed with lymphedma but I have had swelling and have seen a lymphedema therapist for preventative measures. I even have a sleeve that I wear when flying lifting, etc. You can call your hospital or look in your phone book for a lymphedema therapist. Doctors don't know very much about the subject. Please get help early before it gets real bad. These therapist are trained in this area, they use such things as a sleeve(Reed) to get rid of the fluid. I had several hospitalization with cellulitus in the breast form where I had reconstruction and the therapist showed me how to do massages and even help with the hardness of the breast from the numerous infections I had . There is hope. Good Luck
