Over the past several years, I've experienced several symptoms of hypothyroidism (short-term memory loss, loss of concentration, low body temperature, etc ....). My doctor was very quick to diagnose me with depression. I tried several anti-depressants for about 2 years with absolutely no success. All blood work seems to be within normal TSH range (TSH=1.5). Anybody out there have "normal" TSH levels, but still hypothyroid? I would like to trial thyroid treatment for a month or two, but my doctor won't prescribe it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
