Pam
Hi I myself have just been diagnosed with plantar fascitis, and something else with the blood circulation in the feet. I have been given orthodics to wear. I had to walk on a computorized machine that gave hot spots where the weight was being distributed. The orthodics have been okay. My doctor had given me messages of the feet, and I have to stretch my feet every morning. To stretch the muscle in your foot all you have to do is get a towel wrap it across your ball of your foot and pull the foot towards you. You start out by doing this five times, to the count of five, and work your way to ten times. You will feel stretching in your foot and going up the back of your leg. This is how it is suppose to feel. This may not work for you, but it sure helped me. My mother has fascitis as well, only for a longer time, and hasn't had a good doctor helping her so now I've got her doing the same thing I am. Give it a try. I hope it works for you too. I am not a doctor, so you might want to talk to your doctor first.
