My daughter was on Dexadrine. When we gave it to her in the afternoon, she couldn't sleep. So I stopped giving it to her. After a year of trying to explain to her doctor what effect it was having on her, we went to another doctor. He changed her medication to Concerta. It is a time-released medication that is taken only once per day. It has helped us a great deal, but it is very expensive. If you are not getting the answers that you need, I would suggest finding a new doctor.
