There is no such thing as a "Diabetes Diet". Everyone is different and each body reacts differently to the foods you eat. What may not affect me may send your blood sugars sky high! If you are diagnosed with any form of diabetes, you should definitely see a Diabetic Nutritionist and take a Diabetes Education class. In the mean time, if you want to try to help ensure good numbers, eating a healthy diet with plenty of fiber and kind of low on carbs (not VERY low) that is the easiest way to help yourself. Diabetics don't have "special" diets. MOST can (and do) eat everything anyone else easts -- they key is in moderation. Good Luck!
