                        I don't know what sort of pain you have, but I had hip pain so bad, I couldn't sleep.  I saw a physical therapist, who bagan a technique called "Mulligan"  Which pulls on the hip joint to open it up.  It took a long time, but I only have the pain once in a great while now and sleep is not a problem.  Worth a try.
