Hi, Oct. 25th, 1998 I had a basilar tip aneurysm rupture with no notice. You are very lucky that they have found yours in time to fix it. They had to keep me alive by putting me in a near comatose state and keeping me quiet, which I understand wasn't too easy. Ha. However, they did do surgery on me Nov. 3rd. I understand the drug "Nimotop" was a large factor in this. I came thru the surgery pretty good, and even tho I had a lot to deal with for months afterward, I AM ALIVE. I think my neuro-surgeon for this every day. He is Dr. Paul O'Boynick at the K.U.M.C. in Kansas City. I had to learn to write again, and I had severe double vision for approx. 6 mos. I also had a memory loss problem and still have trouble with it. My mental capabilities are sometimes challenged, but you know what. LIFE IS GOOD AND I THANK GOD EVERY DAY. My doctors call me a miracle. You, too, can be. As I said, you are lucky they found yours instead of it bursting like mine. Good luck. E me any time.
