First question... what were the biopsy results? there are many lavels of cervical dysplasia. Make sure you educate yourself and get second and third opinions, especially if you want children. There are many steps they would take before a hysterectomy, some not affecting your childbearing abilities, some would. I have been being treated for cervical dysplasia for 3 years, when they told me they wanted to do a cold knife conization, or cone biopsy, i refused and got pregnant.
