Sorry I can't offer helpful advice, but I do have a few questions. I had total hip replacement in June 2000 and was fine until a few weeks ago. What does the dislocation feel like? Did you need surgery to correct it? I am getting a very sharp pain in the hip, and feel like it is slipping out of position and then slipping back in. Sometimes it feels like the hip "seizes up", and cannot walk for a few minutes. Will be seeing my orthopedic surgeon soon, but in the meantime maybe you can answer.
