Sally: I do have a very good rheumatologist, which I am very greatful for! I did have the biopsy done on the temportal artery to rule out temporal arteritis which came back negative...thank heavens...but the skin tenderness is really bothering me. I also have the tenderness in other areas...such as the abdomen, and my back. The symptoms go away when I increase the dose of the Prednisone again to 15 mg. a day...but if I decrease it trying to taper it, the symptoms return...really frustrating! Have you experienced anything like this? Hope to hear from you again!
