Hi, I work at a doctor's office and today I found out that the nurse at our office has very bad varicose veins. She showed them to me and another girl. I have them also, but not as bad as she does. We were discussing them, and I told her that I had a consult with a vascular surgeon. He dosen't like the look of my one leg. I had pictures taken of them the other day, for the insurance company, then we will discuss my options. The nurse at work said she spoke to her doctor about her veins, he saw them, and he said that she shouldn't do anything about them now, that she should wait untill she has a baby. She is 32, newly married. She isn't planning on having a child for maybe 2 years, if they have one at all. I told her that's not so. They are bad. They will only get worse. Please repond, I want to know why her doctor would say this to her. Thanks. P.S. She is petrified of any type of surgery. She only had surgery one other time in her life. I have been reading and getting info on the web, I told her that there are so many wonderful new things that can be done. Thanks From the Vein ladies
