FYI - I was treated for almost 2 years for bursitis. After changing doctors, it was finally decided to do an MRI which showed 2 bulging disks. I still have pain in my hip all the time but now it is felt that it is actually caused from the back. Numerous cortisone shots and 3 physical therapies did not help my hip pain except for a short time.
