Hello, My daughter also walked on her tiptoes from the time she learned to walk. At three, she had casts for several weeks on both legs. She walked flat for a couple of weeks after the casts came off and then went back on her tiptoes. A few months later she had surgery to lengthen her Achilles tendons and then wore several casts for several weeks. She has since walked flat but doesn't have as much flexibility as is normal. She's 11. After strenuous exercise, she often has ankle and heel pain. She has experienced none of the other symptoms you described, though like you, I have always sought a unified theory that explained everything--she was a breech birth, and had temporal lobe epilepsy from age 7 to 9. Maybe science will someday find the links or maybe it's how mothers think. Good luck.
