I have hip bursitis in both my hips. I have had several cortisone shots with limited and temporary relief. I take 25mg of vioxx and do my stretches daily. While these help my condition, they have in no way cured it. I asked my doctor if I could take 50mg of vioxx but she said it is risky because it can cause liver problems. I am in my 30's and feel as if I am in my 70's, some days. If anyone has any other suggestions to help my hip bursitis, I would greatly appreciate them.
